Paul D. Allen

Paul enlisted in the Air Force and served for 20 years before retiring in 1972. During that time he married Lela F. Cockrell on April 30, 1953 in Williamsport, IN. Together they moved to Longmont Colorado in 1975 from Bellevue, NE.

He belonged to the PAMVET Breakfast Club (Proud American Military) and in his free time enjoyed anything he could do to be involved with helping others and staying active.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Gary Allen.

Paul is survived by his wife Lela; his sons David, Michael and Kevin Allen; his daughters Glenda Hiatt and Christine Kohlscheen; his sister Dianna Skibo; his grandchildren Aaron, Jesse, David James, Jason, Amanda, Jared, Tiffany, Kyle and Rebecca; his great grandchildren Hailey, Kailyn, Ayden, Jameson, Ellorie, Jefferson, Jaxtyn, Jettyson, Kinsley, Sawyer and Paityn.

A visitation will be held from 4:00-6:00 PM on Thursday June 22, 2023 at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel. Funeral service will take place at 11:30am Friday June 23, at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel. Burial at Longmont Mountain View Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Veterans Honoring Veterans. https://www.veteranshonoringveterans.org
