Peggy Ann Rachel, age 81 of Erie, Colorado died January 23, 2013 at her residence. Mrs. Rachel was born August 29, 1931 in Prescott, Arkansas to Theodore and Verdie (Sudsberry) Seal. Peggy Ann married Charles Rachel on December 20, 1951 in Texarkana, Texas and was a homemaker during her working life.
Survivors include two sons, Joseph Rachel (Barbara) of Picayune, Mississippi, Jonathan Rachel (Julie) of Alpharetta, Georgia, one daughter Cordelia Powell (Jeff) of Erie, Colorado, one sister Cordelia Stone of Texarkana, Arkansas. 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren also survive Peggy Ann. Her parents, husband and two sisters, Elizabeth House and Margaret Nicholson, preceded her in death.
No local services will be held and interment will take place in East Memorial Gardens in Texarkana, Arkansas.
