Born in Brattleboro, Vermont, Phil built a life filled with love, laughter, and music. He was the devoted husband of Suzanne Laughlin Trimm, who was truly the love of his life, and the proud father of his sons Joshua, Christopher, and Cortland Trimm, and stepdaughter Jordan Crawford. Nothing made Phil light up more than his six grandchildren—he cherished every moment with them. He is also lovingly remembered by his sisters Donna Cook (Richard) and Deborah Chapman (Robert).
Music was woven through every part of Phil’s life. He shared his talent, his humor, and his irresistible energy with everyone lucky enough to hear him play.
Phil spent his career with RG Insulation, where “coworkers” quickly became friends. He had a gift for connecting with people—whether through a joke, a helping hand, or his big, genuine smile.
To know Phil was to love him. His kindness, his warmth, and his ability to make everyone feel welcome will stay with us forever. He leaves behind a lifetime of memories that we will always carry in our hearts.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, December 7th, at the Dickens Opera House, 302 Main Street in Longmont, Colorado, from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM. Please come as you are and join us in sharing stories, hugs, laughter, and the love he gave so freely.
We invite you to honor Phil by donating to the charity of your choice, a gesture he would have appreciated deeply.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.howemortuary.com for his loving family.
