

Born in 1942 in Fremont Nebraska, Phyllis received a Bachelor’s degree in Business Education from Midland Lutheran College. She continued her education and received a Master’s degree in Guidance and Counseling from the University of Colorado in Boulder, Colorado.
Phyllis spent the early part of her career as a high school teacher at Longmont High School, worked as a stay at home mom while her children were young, later to return to the work force as an administrative assistant.
Phyllis was deeply loved and known for her whit, charm and great laugh. She was always on the go and loved to tend to people. She loved her family and friends without end and gave much happiness and laughs to those around her. There was no such thing as a dull moment with her in the room. Her favorite pass time after she retired was spending time at her mountain home with her husband, children and grandchildren. Phyllis loved music and singing throughout her life.
Phyllis is survived by her husband, Edwin Wagner, two children Brent Wagner and Lisa Nelson and five beautiful grandchildren Avery, Noelle, Ashley, Joshua and Luke, all residing in Colorado. She is also survived by two brothers Maurice Prauner of Connecticut and Mark Prauner of Nebraska. She was predeceased by her youngest brother John and parents Edwin and Vera Prauner.
Funeral services will be held at Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church at 1:00 p.m. on Monday December 14th.
