Ralph Castro

Ralph Castro, a son, a father, a brother, a grandfather and an uncle passed away on October 23, 2024 in Longmont, CO, at the age of 86 years. Ralph was born in Erie, CO and a longtime Erie resident where he attended Lincoln Elementary grade school and graduated from Erie High School in 1957 and proudly remained in his beloved Erie hometown till his passing. Ralph was the second to the oldest of 8 children. He is preceded in death by his parents , Michael and Dora Castro and a sister who passed away in 1937 at a young age. He is survived by his children Lynn, David and Paul and sister Helen Monares, sister Rachel Munoz, sister MaryAnn Lopes (Rolando), brother Mike (Lou), brother Joseph (Marie), brother Jess (Terry) and sister Grace (Dave), and numerous grandkids, nieces, nephews, great grandkids and great nephews. Ralph enjoyed his time with family, hunting, camping and spending time socializing at the Senior Center. Ralph was an Army veteran where he served his country for four years. He will be remembered and missed by many. Service will be held at Ft. Logan National Cemetery and internment will follow.
