Raphael "Ray" Bertrand

Ray married Maurine McKenna on April 10, 1959 in Farmington, New Mexico.

Ray was preceded in death by his wife Maurine Bertrand; his parents Lyanesse and Addie Bertrand; his brother J.C. (Thelma) Bertrand; his brother Merlin (Dorice) Bertrand and his brother Allen (Yvonne) Bertrand.

Ray is survived by his daughter Patti (Ken) Farmer; his son Kevin (Shelia) Bertrand; his daughter Denise (Clint) Lovato; and his son Robert Bertrand. He is also survived by his 14 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Ray loved his family and spending time with them as much as possible. His laugh and stories were a favorite for all of his kids and grandchildren. He was a hard working man -- and finally retired at the age of 70. In his retirement, he spent time traveling and visiting family. His humor, wisdom, and love for his family will be what we all miss the most.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Ray's memory may be made to American Cancer Society and Tuberous Sclerosis Association.
