Ray was born in El Rio, Oklahoma to James L. Morrow and Allie Dora (Tatum) Morrow. When he was old enough he joined the Army and served proudly in the Korean War. When he was honorably discharged he came back to Oklahoma where he worked at various jobs.Ray met and married Ruby V. Mayo in April of 1957 and then moved to Maryland. In late 1958 they moved to Colorado and Ray began his career at Safeway Warehouse as Head of Warehouse Maintenance in early 1959. He retired in 1994 after 35 years.Ray enjoyed being outdoors and spent his free time with his family camping, fishing and hunting. He enjoyed teaching his extended family of nieces, nephews and grandchildren to enjoy these activities as much as he did. When not involved in any of those activities you could always find him in his garage tinkering away at something. He was always available to lend a helping hand or (tool) to a neighbor in need, which endeared to all that knew him.Ray was preceded in death earlier this year by his daughter Tina. He is leaving behind his wife Ruby, his daughter Linda and his son Dale. He will be missed dearly by his 3 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews, who all knew they could come to him for help when needed.Memorial service 10:00 AM Monday July 2, 2018 at the Ahlberg Funeral Chapel.
