2021. He was born in Norman, Nebraska, to the late Hugh and Violet Duckworth. He was the oldest son of
his 3 siblings, Rhona, Don, and Tom.
Robert is survived by his sister, Rhona Donigan of Houston, Texas, his son David Duckworth of Naples,
Florida, his daughter Diane Whisner of Tulsa, Oklahoma, grandchildren, Aaron and Shannon Whisner,
Alyssa Whisner, Andrew Whisner and great granddaughter Eva Whisner.
Robert proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. During which time, while home on leave he
noticed a beautiful young lady, Eva Heisten through a dress shop window, who later would become his wife
of nearly 60 years before her passing in 2015.
Robert had a great passion for fishing and camping and enjoyed many days sharing that love with his family
and friends. He was a man of great integrity and faith. His heart was firmly devoted to Christ and serving
the Lord. Robert was a strong, kind, loving, and supportive father. His knowledge and guidance were the
foundation of his family, and he will be greatly missed.
