Robert Eugene Peterson Jr. died January 24th, 2023 at the age of 65 in his Longmont home after a long battle with his illness. He died peacefully in his sleep surrounded by family. He was an amazing man with a heart of gold who loved his family beyond anything else.
He was born November 25th, 1957 in Hollywood, FL. He joined the army in 1976 after he graduated from high school and the Colorado National Guard soon afterwards. He had gotten an associates degree in Electronics that took him to see amazing places like Malaysia, Scottland, Singapore and Japan to name a few. He never had children but loved his cats with all his heart.
He is preceded in death by his father Robert Eugene Peterson Sr. He is survived by his brother Steven Peterson Sr. and Peggy Swarts of Fredrick, CO; his sister Vicki Peterson of Longmont, CO; his brother Dale Peterson of Chyenenne, WY; his niece Brandy Way of Longmont, CO; his nephew Steven Peterson II and Erica of Corydon, IA; his nephew Justin Peterson of Longmont, CO; as well as 4 great nieces and 6 great nephews.
