I am deeply saddened by the tragic loss of Rob. He was a remarkably intelligent and talented individual, someone whose high IQ was matched only by his incredible warmth and dedication. Working with him on numerous projects at aMind Solutions was an absolute privilege. He was not just a colleague but a true mentor and teacher who knew how to challenge you to reach your fullest potential, often pushing you beyond your comfort zone in the best possible ways. Rob’s patience, dedication, and mentorship made an indelible impact, and his presence will be profoundly missed. My heartfelt condolences go out to his family and everyone who had the honor of knowing him.

I have the privilege of being able to call Rob my brother in law for 15 years. What always impressed me was Rob's many layers.  He was both intellectual and guy who loved a meandering story.  He knew how to work industriously hard and how to relax.  He could both lead and take direction.  He knew how to be spontaneous and when to read the room. He knew when to intervene and when to stand back.  He knew when to listen without judgement and when to speak with counsel. Rob was loyal, patient, brave, thoughtful, kind, super smart and the type of guy people want around during an emergency or during a casual movie viewing. In other words Rob is the person everyone wants around.  His presence is deeply and painfully missed. Rob loved, appreciated, respected and fully enjoyed his children and wife.  I know he saw Cora and Peterson as unique and fantastic individuals and valued them with his whole heart.  He also knew how blessed he was to have found Anna, his wife, and appreciated every part of her being.  Personal Memory:  Every day.  Rob made me coffee every single morning I visited the Wing's in Colorado.   Every time. Each morning.  With grace.  Even when I was super grumpy in the morning.   Especially when I was super grumpy and whiny.  Coffee just for me even when I didn't deserve that kind of patience. That's oustanding.  Rob was an outstanding human.  We are all blessed to have known him.  I know that I myself have learned how to be a better human because I knew Robert Wing.

Rob was one of the smartest and most gifted people I’ve ever met, but more importantly he was a genuinely kind and helpful person. I am so grateful for the things I learned from him over the past 12+ years. He always made time to be supportive and provide advice whenever I asked, but never made me feel like he had more important things to do, even though he certainly did. He enjoyed being there for others whenever they needed it.

I am so sorry to Anna, Cora, Peterson, and all his loved ones for your loss. It was apparent how much he loved his family and how excited he was to spend time with you. He was truly special and will be greatly missed, but never forgotten.

Very few individuals make an impact on us and it is extremely rare for someone to make a lasting impression in a short time-period.

Rob indeed was one of those rare individuals. A thorough gentleman, the respect he gave and the patience he exhibited were testaments of the amazing individual that he was.

Rob - thank you for leadership, friendship, and mostly showing us what it means to be a good human being.

Rob was a smart, funny, compassionate individual. He made such a huge impact in the organization in so little time. His ability to stay calm through the toughest of the conversations was extremely admirable.

I would always remember his smiling, calm, & more importantly KIND personality. We will MISS YOU Rob!

I am deeply sad about the passing of Rob.  I considered Rob both a friend and an esteemed colleague.  Similar age, similar backgrounds and similar appreciations for family.  I respected him a lot and found his personality and approach calming and at times a huge relief.  I have many fond memories of him and will miss him.  So sorry for your loss.

One of the most calm personalities I have met in my tech carrier. Someone who genuinely listens, when people talk. I have had a few conversations with him, and was such a kind gentleman to talk to.
It bothers me hearing that he was doing what he enjoys, that is riding a bike. And he felt prey to some rash, careless driver. 
I also share the love of riding bike, and competing in triathlons.

I will keep him in my memories and prayers, whenever I am doing my next race.

I wish strength to his family, kids, and all his near and dear ones.

In December, when we were gathered for Christmas, Rob quickly became one of our baby Maddie's favorites, in no small part because of his "Super Baby" cradle hold. I recalled this forearm hold, flying the carefully supported baby face-down for an exciting new view of their world, from when Rob did it with his baby daughter, Cora, years ago. As Maddie was flown around the family living room in December, I watched the loving expression on Cora's face as she undoubtedly has heard the stories from when she was the "Super Baby" over a decade ago. Peterson's face also lit up watching his Dad fly Maddie by, as I know he fondly recalls the special jokes and active, shared experiences that he, too, has built with his Dad. It was just one of many special memories where I had a glimpse into the strong relationship Rob had with his kids.  This story has been on my heart since the news of Rob's passing and I hope it can bring joyful memories to those who know "Super Baby" and illuminate the fun, caring nature Rob exemplified. My love to Anna, Cora, and Peterson especially.
