Rose Aurelia Saenz

Rose Aurelia Saenz, 77, of Longmont, Colorado, died March 9, 2006 at Life Care Center of Longmont.Rose was born on August 27, 1928 in Trinidad, Colorado to Jose and Maria Felicita (Lucero) Valdez. She married Jesus Saenz on December 1, 1953 in Boulder, Colorado.Rose was a homemaker who looked after the needs of her family. To her, family was very important and she enjoyed being with them. Rose also was very good at doing the things that were related to family; she enjoyed baking, sewing, doing embroidery, taking care of plants and flowers. She also loved animals, birds, and fish.Her husband, Jesus, and one brother, Fred Valdez, preceded Mrs. Saenz in death.She is survived by four sons: Timothy Saenz and his wife Linda of Erie, CO, Frank Saenz and his wife Kim of Longmont, Jess Saenz of Pueblo, CO, and David Saenz and his wife Michelle of Johnstown, CO; by four daughters: Teresa Rodriguez and her husband Roy of Longmont, Juanita Sias and her husband Victor of Firestone, Phyllis Saenz of Longmont, and Susan Sias and her husband Samuel of Dacono; one step-son, John Saenz of Greeley; three brothers: Lee Valdez and Raymond Valdez and his wife Alice, both of Topeka, Kansas and Victor Valdez and his wife Sylvia of Dacono; two sisters: Sarah Gomez of Denver and Susan Saenz of Greeley; 26 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.Visitation will be held on Monday, March 13 from 8:30 a.m. at Howe Mortuary until the funeral services. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. at Howe Mortuary with Victor Valdez, Rose?s brother and a minister with Jehovah Witnesses, officiating.
