Ruben Jesse Lemus

Ruben Jesse Lemus, also known as Sonny, was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, who passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, May 3, 2020 in Longmont, Colorado. He was born in Lynwood, California on February 24, 1970 to the late Viola and Ruben Lemus, Sr. Ruben grew up in Colorado with five siblings. He cared deeply for them all.

When he was 17, he met the love of his life. From a young age they knew they were soulmates. They quickly fell in love and eventually relocated to Arizona. They had four beautiful children together. He is survived by his wife, children, daughter-in-law, four grandchildren, siblings, brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and granddogs.

Ruben was an outgoing people person. He made friends everywhere he went and never failed to put a smile on people's faces. He was a very generous man, who was always willing to help anyone out, without expecting anything in return.

Ruben had a passion for working on cars and took pride in his '73 Chevy Caprice. He loved having his family and friends over and always made sure he was a good host. He will be extremely missed and always celebrated.
