Obituary for Terry Lynn VegaTerry Lynn VegaNovember 9, 1954 “ January 10, 2016Terry Lynn Vega, 61, passed away Sun. January 10, 2016 at her home surrounded by her loving family.She was born November 9, 1954 in Elgin, Illinois to Keith and Mae (Kruckenberg) Collier. She moved with her family to Commerce City, CO as a child. Terry graduated from Adams City High School in 1972.Terry married Maximiliano Vega, Jr. in 1974. He preceded her in death in 1978.She met Dennis Hale while bowling in a league on February 9, 1985. Following a lunch date they fell in love and have made their life together ever since. They lived in Longmont until moving to their home east of Boulder in 1995.Terry was a chemical process operator for IBM beginning in 1979, transitioning to Lexmark Corporation. She enjoyed bowling, camping and boating.She was preceded in death by her father.Terry is survived by her mother Mae of Commerce City, her husband Dennis, son Max Vega, III, grandson Izayah Vega, three sisters Linnea, Anita, and Robin, three brothers Harry, John, and J , and her beloved dog Pepe Le Pew. Graveside committal service will be held at 1pm Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at Foothills Gardens of Memory. A Celebration of her Life will follow at 2pm, Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at the American Legion Boulder Post #10. Cremation entrusted to Ahlberg Funeral Chapel and Crematory.
