

Thomas Alan Phillips was born at home near Zelienople, PA on May 13, 1936. He died at home in Longmont, CO on November 16, 2021. Between those dates he improved the world with his quiet caring, inquisitiveness, humor and loving manner.
He earned his Bachelor’s degree at Whitworth College, Spokane, WA; his Masters at Princeton Theological Seminary, Princeton, NJ; and his Doctorate at McCormick Seminary, Chicago IL.
As a Presbyterian minister he served churches in Chicago and Mr. Prospect, IL; Melbourne, Australia; Columbus, IN; and Gillette, WY. Later he moved to Greeley, CO to become the Administrative officer for the Presbyterian churches in Northeast Colorado and the Nebraska panhandle, and retired in Longmont, CO.
He is dearly loved by his wife, Carolyn (Exner) Phillips, daughter Anita Eveland and her husband Bill, his son Eric and his wife Kim, and four grandchildren, Taryn, Cailyn, Carina and Evan.
Tom will continue serving others with his full body donation to the University of Colorado School of Medicine.
A private ceremony will be held at a later date.
