Timothy Lynn Tim"" Spadi

Tim was born on July 21, 1949 in Longmont, Colorado to Jacob and Elizabeth Ruth (Ryan) Spadi. He attended schools in Longmont and graduated from Longmont High School in 1967. Tim then attended the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley where he graduated with a degree in agri-business, pursuing a career in agronomy.

He then went to work for Coors Brewing Company of Golden, Colorado. In his 32 year career with the company, his work took him throughout Colorado, Idaho, Montana and Wyoming. He moved to Worland in 1984 where he was the Wyoming/Montana Area Manager/Agronomist for Brewing Materials. He was very well known throughout the region. He retired in 2005 from the work he so passionately loved.

In 1985, Tim married Lynn Marie O’Connell in Jackson, WY at Our Lady of the Mountains Catholic Church. They had been married 26 years.

Tim was active in community affairs by serving and participating in the Worland Ag Ambassadors as a founding member and promoted WestiAg Days; served as a barley judge at the Wyoming State Fair; helped with Meals on Wheels and the Christmas Basket Program; volunteered at the Worland Food Bank; and he was a member of the City of Worland Board of Adjustment and Planning.

He was a member of the Worland Country Club where he had served on the board of directors. He was a member of St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church.

His hobbies included golfing, fishing, and being with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Jacob and Elizabeth Spadi; by his brother Ronald Lee Spadi; and his grandparents.

Tim is survived by his wife Lynn Marie Spadi of Worland, WY; by his daughter Rachel Ann Spadi attending St. Norbert College in Green Bay, WI; by his brother Shawn David (Karyne D.) Spadi of Avon, CO; and by numerous cousins, and family members.

A Memorial Gathering will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 20, 2011 at the Howe Mortuary. A private inurnment will be held.
