Wanda Lee Rodriguez

Wanda graduated from Longmont High School class of 1946. After high school she attended one year of college at the University of Denver studying Anthropology. She met the love of her life at the age of 16 and in 1949 she married Benjamin Rodriguez.

In 1952, Benjamin and Wanda partnered to open Rodriguez Auto Body and Paint Shop in Longmont, which endured for over 55 years.

In their spare time they raised a family of eight children. Benjamin passed away in 2002 at the age of 75 and Wanda is survived by all eight of her children: Ruth, Mitchel, Kevin, Lorenzo, Jaime, Sean, Patrice and Kirsten. She also is survived by 13 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

Wanda was also preceded in death by her parents, three siblings and her grandson, Peter Rodriguez.

Wanda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and will be sorely missed. Wanda was a member of St John’s Catholic Church.

A rosary and memorial service will be held at Howe Mortuary Chapel on Thursday, December 4th at 4PM with a reception to follow at Howe Mortuary. Wanda's ashes will be laid to rest in a private ceremony at a later date.
