

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 5th at 12pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 1721 Red Cloud Road, Longmont, CO 80504. Interment will be held at Purdy & Walters at Floral Hills Funeral Home & Cemetery in Lynnwood, WA (date pending). The public is invited to attend the memorial service with funeral arrangements being handled by Ahlberg Funeral and Crematory.
Bill was born February 21st, 1969 in Edmonds, WA. He graduated from Edmonds-Woodway High School in the Special Education Program. Bill was challenged with autism which allowed him to share his unique gifts and abilities in making people and the world a better place. He loved working on word searches and puzzles, drawing, watching movies, and going on outings. Holidays were his favorite and he loved spending time with family and friends celebrating.
Bill worked in food and silverware preparation for 30 years as an employee of Red Lobster at the Lynnwood, WA and Longmont, CO restaurants. He was also actively involved in Special Olympics, bowling, and the Out & About day programs.
Bill is survived by his brother and sister-in law, Tim and Carolyn Turner and his nieces (Rachel, Sarah, Emily, Laura, and Ginny).
Bill is preceded in death by his father and mother, Ed and Julie Turner.
The family wishes to thank Inez Brown and Bruce and Shauna Gravlin as live-in caregivers to Bill over the last few years. We express our appreciation to Bill’s health providers for managing his health challenges. We are grateful to Red Lobster and Imagine for providing work and recreational opportunities for him. Finally, we wish to thank family and friends who loved and befriended Bill during his life journey. Our lives were changed for the better because of his influence.
