

Born May 1, 1932 in Ness City, Kansas she was one of 11 children born to Frank Kreutzer and Mary (Haas) Kreutzer. The family moved to the Brighton area in 1937.
Wilma married Henry Smith on November 22, 1949 in Denver. A wonderful mother, she was also a tireless worker. She worked for Wright & McGill Company in Denver and later for 18 years at Gould Filter Company, here in Longmont.
Wilma had been a long time member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, where she was active with the Alter and Rosary Society. She more recently moved to Beatrice Hover Independent Living, where she participated in many activities, including their card games and was ever present at their rummage sales and fundraisers.
Preceding her in death is husband Henry; brothers, Ted, Willie, Cyril, Victor, Ed, Bob, sisters: Marcella and Barbara.
Surviving are her daughter Kathi (Warren) Powell of Longmont; son Ronald (Janette) Smith of Longmont; three grandchildren; Audra (Alfred) Rael, Rebecca (Robert) Wedgeworth, Matt Powell, five great grandchildren; Josh, Kyra and John Rael, Alex and Gabriel Jones and a brother Francis (Rachael) Kreutzer; and a sister Rosemary (Al) Dreher of Denver.
Visitation hours will be from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Sunday, April 14 at the Howe Community Room.
Mass of the Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 16 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.
Interment will follow at Foothills Gardens of Memory.
