Yoshiye ""Bonnie"" Yamamoto, 87, of Denver, died December 26, 2009 at St. Anthony North Hospital.Bonnie was born March 1, 1922 in Lafayette, Colorado the daughter of Tanekichi and Toka (Sasaki) Yamamoto. She never married. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters Chiyoko Hirao and Mary Konishi.Survivors include her brothers Motoye Yamamoto and his wife Clara of Fountain Valley, CA and Minoru Yamamoto and his wife Amy of Westminster, CO, her sisters Fusaye Tokunaga and her husband George of Greeley, CO and Hanako Sameshina of Greeley, Colorado and Kiyoko Nikaido and her husband David of Silver Springs, Maryland as well as numerous nieces and nephews.Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, January 8, 2010 at the Howe Mortuary Chapel, 439 Coffman St. Longmont, CO with Reverend Mark Heiss of Mead Methodist Church officiating. Inurnment will follow at Longmont Mountain View Cemetery.Cremation has been entrusted to Howe Mortuary and Cremation Service.
