A Life taken too soon.
Courtney Marie Caro passed away at age 31 on October 29, 2022. Born on October 08,1991 to Jerome Joseph Sr. and Doyletta Jean Caro, was a beautiful bright giggly little girl that brought her family so much joy. Little did we all realize how she would change our lives forever. She spent her years growing up with her family in Kentucky and Louisiana. Laughing and playing with her siblings and cousins is what she seemed to love the most, however the bond she shared with her oldest brother was the strongest of all. Growing up always seemed to be filled with its ups and downs, yet she always found a reason to laugh and smile. Courtney was an amazing unforgettable daughter, granddaughter, mother, sister, niece, cousin, wife and friend who would overcome, conquer and excel at everything she set out for, until now when the Lord called her home. She dedicated her life to her entire family, yet her dedication to her children she cherished most. She raised them and loved unapologetically with a heart so big and humble no one could ever deny.
Many of us spend our lifetime trying to find our sole purpose. The reason the Lord placed us here. It's what we desire to know and if you're lucky enough to figure that out, you can begin to actually live your life. At the age of 18 life threw her a curveball that would give cause to a major decision in her life. No matter the events prior she without a doubt knew her future. Several months later she gave birth to two beautiful boys. Naming them Aiden James Caro(deceased) and Braiden Joseph Caro born August 29,2009. Only to have them ripped from her a few short months later at the hands of another. This brave young girl stood up, brushed herself off and began again. Yet never healing from this pain, years down the road she married Samuel Burden of Kentucky and became an amazing wife and mother. Spending every moment she had she took life on and with her husband raised her two girls Kaidence Marie Burden and Anais Marie Burden along with 8 step children. Finally she knew without a doubt, HER PURPOSE.
To know her was to love her, (this was inevitable) and if you were blessed with the gift to love her you would soon cherish it forever (this too was inevitable).
She had a laugh that would pierce right to your soul and a presence that would consume the room. Never one to complain nor show her pain, so not to worry anyone else. Always one to put herself last while not for once letting you know.
Life is nothing more than a journey filled with many turns and open roads. We may take the wrong path many times with some starting back at the beginning. These paths turn into lessons learned. It's not how many times you make mistakes or succeed. It's about the journey you took to get there. These are the moments that matter. These are the footprints you too will leave behind. So make them count. Remember to laugh and cry openly. Forgive abundantly (yes even yourself) and Love tremendously.
