

Cindy was born in Louisville, Kentucky on Monday, June 2, 1958, to parents, Mickey Arnold and Deanna (Bennett) Arnold. Cindy was a shining example of what a Christian wife, daughter, and aunt should be. She loved her Lord and Savior. Before she got sick, Cindy was the church pianist at South Jefferson Baptist Church. Her favorite hymns were those with a distinct four-part harmony. She had gospel songs in her soul.
Cindy graduated from Stuart High School in 1976. She then went on the University of Louisville, where she graduated with honors. She was proud of her accomplishment. She then went on to graduate school where she continued her psychology studies. Cindy loved to learn and she showed that when she learned what she needed to know about her dialysis. She was very aware of the does and don'ts.
Cindy will be missed by so many. However, we know where she is. She is singing and praising her Lord and Savior.
She is preceded in death by her father, Mickey Arnold; and her brother, Jeff.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband of over 44 years, Garry; her mother, Deanna; her sister - in - law, Gennie; She also leaves behind a nephew, Logan, his wife, Keirsten and their daughters, Miriam and Lily; her niece, Dr. Maegan Arnold Peach and her husband, Kaleb; brother - in - law, Bob and his wife, Joyce; nephew, Sam Griffin and his wife, Stephanie and their three children, Emerson, Brooklyn and nephew, Dylan.
She is also survived by loving aunts, uncles and cousins; plus, a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing and celebrate her life.
In Lieu of flowers and customary expressions of sympathy, memorial contributions can be made in honor of Cindy, at the request of her family, those can be directed to the National Kidney Foundation (NKF) Regional Support at 12468 LaGrange Road, Suite 207, Louisville, Kentucky 40245 or to South Jefferson Baptist Church at 6505 Pendleton Road in Louisville, Kentucky 40272.
Funeral Services will be held in the Chapel of Advantage Funeral Home - Hardy Chapel. Cindy will be laid to rest in Bethany Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 15, 2026, from 2:00 - 8:00 p.m. and then again on Monday, February 16, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until the Funeral Hour of 12:00 p.m. also at Advantage Funeral Home - Hardy Chapel.
To honor Cindy and her memory, her family will be wearing Cindy's favorite color, purple, as a heartfelt tribute to her life well lived and to honor her fight to the bitter end.
