David William Bass

He earned his Master's Degree from Southern New Hampshire University. David proudly served in the United States Coast Guard. During his time in the Coast Guard, David was stationed in Alexandria, VA as a member of the Presidential Honor Guard. He served on the USCGC Harriet Lane in Portsmouth, VA.

David worked for Humana as a Senior Software Engineer. He was the Co-Founder of Darkstar Paranormal and was a member of the American Legion Paradise Post 79.

He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and friend. David is survived by his Wife,Tena Bass; children, Chandra Cadwallader (Allan), Elizabeth Yost(Donnie), Stephen Bass(Jessi); grandchildren, Ethan, Braeden,Tristen,Gavin,Abby,Lily,Eli,Wiley,James; siblings,Sharon Kinsella(Joseph),Buddy Bass(Trina); brothers-in-law, Danny Short and Chuck Short; as well as many other loved ones.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil and Armethia Bass; in-laws, Charles and Delva Short; grandparents,Titus and Glendola Wiley, and William and Mary Bass. His Funeral Service will be held on Saturday March 9, 2024 at 11am at the Advantage Funeral Home - Hardy Chapel, with Burial Following in Brookland Cemetery in Shepherdsville, Ky His visitation will be held on Friday March 8, 2024 from 2 - 8pm at the funeral home.
