She was preceded in death by her twin sister, Diana Ordway.
Survivors include her husband Darryl L. Dowell; children, Amber Dowell, Darryl L. Dowell II, Sarah Surratt, and Jessica Dowell; siblings Ronnie and Lonnie Joseph; and her parents, William and Helen Joseph.
Her funeral service will be held at 10:00 am Saturday at Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Hwy, followed by burial at Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 3-8 pm Friday.
