Edith June Williams

Edith June Hines-Williams, of Louisville, KY affectionately known as Edie, passed away peacefully on December 24, 2024, with family by her side, at the age of 68. She was born on May 28, 1956, to her late loving parents, Blaine Morgan Sr. and Sally Ann Morgan.

Edie dedicated her life to her family and her role as a homemaker, where she created a home filled with love and warmth. Known for her kindness and generosity, she was a second mother to many, always ready to offer care and support to those in need. Her selflessness and compassion left an enduring impact on all who had the privilege of knowing her.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Keith Williams; her son, Gregory Hines (Connie); and her daughter-in-law, Tammy Jeffries (Darrell). She also leaves behind her stepchildren, Brandy Hurley (Andy) and Ryan Williams (Kelsey); her cherished grandchildren, Tiffany Smith (Corey), Morgan Hines (Craig), Cassandra Hines, Chloe Hurley, Ava Hurley, Jack Hurley, Oliver Williams, and Nova Williams; as well as her great-grandchildren, Riley Smith and Reid Smith with a new great-grandchild coming August 2025 in which she was very excited for. Edie is also survived by her siblings, Blaine Morgan Jr., Deborah Day, and Patty Fischer; along with numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews whom she loved dearly.

Edie was preceded in death by her son Timothy Hines; granddaughter Haley Hines; brothers Denny Morgan, William "Bill" Morgan, and Danny Morgan; mother-in-law Louise Williams; nieces Angie Morgan and Missy Louden; and her best friend Paula Goodman.

Her warmth and unwavering devotion to others will be remembered fondly by all whose lives she touched. Edie’s legacy of love continues through the family she adored and the countless lives she enriched with her generosity.

May her memory bring comfort to all who mourn her passing.

A visitation for Edith will be held Monday, December 30, 2024, from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Advantage Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 10907 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY 40272, followed by a funeral at 6:00 PM
