She was preceded in death by her mother, Eva (Dupin) Lyell; step-father, Charles Lyell; father, Harlie Hatfield; brother, Arthur Hatfield; and husband, J.W. Padgett Jr.
Left to celebrate her life are her 3 daughters, Kathy (Frank) Baker, Peggy (Frank) Hobbs, and Alicia (Donald) Wheeler; seven grandchildren, Michael Gatrost, Erica (Hobbs) Fackler, Natalie (Hobbs) Clark, Nathan Hobbs, Chelsea (Hobbs) Sullivan, Tara (Wheeler) Brown, and Brandon Wheeler; plus great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Thursday, May 14th from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services Hardy Chapel, 10907 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY 40272. A funeral will begin at 1:00 PM the same day at the same location, with burial to follow at Bethany Memorial Cemetery, 10917 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY 40272.
