He was self-employed. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, his friends, and eating breakfast at Dixie Bowl. James also enjoyed history, Abraham Lincoln and cowboy movies. He was a big fan of all types of cars.
Mr. Smith is survived by his children, Shannon Smith (Alicia) and Monica Hutchinson; three grandchildren, A.J. Hutchinson, Cameron and Shelby Smith; two great-grandchildren, Lacie and Korbin; and a sister, Helen Marshall.
A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, November 2, at the Shawnee Lodge, 7016 Southside Drive, from 1pm to 5pm.
