Janet Kennedy

Janet was retired from American Air Filter with 20 years of service, after retirement, Janet was a caring woman who dedicated her life to raising and supporting her family. She enjoyed playing bunco and was an active member of the Friendship Club at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom, and her son, Craig. Janet leaves behind to cherish her memory her four children, Tom Kennedy Jr. (Pam), Mike Kennedy (Benetta), Jackie Kennedy, and Julie Kennedy; her sister, Linda Wall; five grandchildren, Kurt (Laurel), Kelly (Tyler), Kara, Stacy, and Corey (Kaylin); and four great-grandchildren, Hazel, Maya, Adriana, and Saylor.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Advantage Funeral Home Hardy Chapel, 10907 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY. A celebration of life service will be held on Friday, January 24, 2025, at 11:00 AM at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, 5431 Johnsontown Rd, Louisville, KY 40272. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, 1600 Newburg Rd, Louisville, KY 40205.

Janet's family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to all who have offered support during this difficult time. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
