She was a loving military wife who proudly supported her husband
everywhere his service took him.
She retired from Norton Health Care gift shop. A native of Brassfield
and raised in Richmond, Ky.
She is preceded in death by her husband: Leonard, parents,
Beverly and Fannie Hendrix and a brother, J.D. Pearson.
Survivors include: four daughters, Irma Hendricks (Mike),
Susan Higdon (Donnie), Sheila Meredith (David), Sharon Thompson (Mike),
Eight grandchildren, Brenda Lamb (Charles), Phillip Higdon,
John Hendricks (Jennifer), Billy Gill, Stephanie Nelson, Sarah Gill,
Carrie Lyons (Mike), Alison Sherrell (Tyler) and 14 Great grandchildren,
one sister, Ada Marcum, one brother, Kenneth Hendrix.
Service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at W.G. Hardy Funeral Home and
Cremation Service with burial in Ft. Knox Post Cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday 11 a.m. till 8 p.m.
