Ronald Monroe Molden, 81, passed away on Monday, March 20, 2017, at Louisville East Acute Care. He was born on June 29, 1935 in Tipton, IN to the late Walter Monroe and Abigail (Miller) Molden. He was married to Evelyn June Coleman; she preceded him in death.
Ronald is a Vietnam and Korean War veteran, where he served as Sergeant FSC. He was also a member of VFW 1181.
He is survived by his daughter, Cindy (Bill) Lawrence; daughter-in-law, Jeanne Molden; 5 grandchildren, Vanessa Miller, Kathryn (Kevin) Geary, William Lawrence, John Molden, and Elizabeth Ackert, as well as 2 great grandchildren, Vincent Miller and Jaxon Geary.
In addition to his parents and his wife, Ronald was preceded in death by his 2 sons, Richard Molden and John Molden, and his 2 sisters, Phyliss Gail Doss and Roxie McCarter.
There will be a memorial visitation for Ronald from 2-6 PM on Friday, March 24, 2017 at advantage Funeral and Cremation Services-Hardy Chapel, 10907 Dixie Hwy. Louisville, KY 40272.
Private inurnment will take place in Kentucky Veteran Cemetery.
