William was a member of the Hot Rod Association and had a love for gardening. He also enjoyed cheering on University of Kentucky basketball.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Blevins; his father, James Blevins; and mother, Fannie Dunn.
William is survived by his daughters, Kimberly Nethery (Bobby) and Kelly Blevins; his grandchildren, Kasey Nethery and Austin Nethery; and his brothers, Richard Blevins and Elzy Blevins.
A Memorial Service will be held at Advantage Funeral Home - Hardy Chapel, 10907 Dixie Hwy, 40272, on Thursday, April 23, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
