Andrew Beasley

Mr. Beasley was born in Angelina County. As a young man he built model airplanes and enjoyed flying them. He worked well with his hands and enjoyed fixing things. He lived a very healthy life. He was always busy fabricating things. He enjoyed his family and friends. Mr. Beasley owned and operated Beasley Construction Company since 1968. He was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church. He would be glad that he went home on St. Patrick's Day.

He is survived by his wife, Wanda Joyce Beasley; sons and daughters-in-law, Felix Andrew and Patti Beasley and Keith and Teresa Beasley, all of Lufkin; daughter and son-in-law, Bridget and David Crowley of Houston; sons, Doug Beasley and Nick Beasley, both of Lufkin; sister Ima Jewell Grimes; sister and brother-in-law, Romona and Billy Davis, all of Lufkin; six grandchildren, Carol Carriveau, Vincent Crowley, Patrick Crowley, Casie Beasley, Crystal Beasley and Lara Strickland; four great-grandchildren; nephew, Charles Ray Davis; and numerous other family members.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Pallbearers will be Sam Anderson, Randy Green, Charles Ray Davis , Clint Stephens, Billy Davis and Allen "Bubba" Loggins, Jr..

Honorary pallbearers will be Allen Loggins and Allan Hunt.

Services for Mr. Beasley will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 21, 2011 in the Gipson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jackie Snarr officiating. Interment will follow in Whitehouse Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday evening at Gipson Funeral Home.
