Bernice Grim, 90, of Lufkin, was born May 7, 1921 in White Falls, Texas, the daughter of the late Nettie Bell (Gipson) and James T. Bradley. She passed away Monday, August 29, 2011 in a local nursing facility.
Mrs. Grim was a homemaker and a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed being outdoors and "lived in the woods." She was a member of Oaks Flat Baptist Church.
Survivors include her sons, Robert L. Johnson of Carrolton and Gary Grim of Lufkin; grandchildren, Kim Johnson and David Grim; and a number of other family members.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Grim was preceded in death by her husband, George Grim in 2000; 3 sisters; and 2 brothers.
Services for Mrs. Grim were held on Wednesday, August 31, 2011 in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park, with Reverend Horace Fletcher officiating.
