Mr. Atkinson was born August 31, 1928 in Childress, Texas, the son of the late Anna (Turntine) and Raymond Atkinson. He passed away Saturday, August 19, 2017 in Navasota, Texas.
Mr. Atkinson was a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was a self-employed salesman and was a member of New Hope Church in Navasota. He served his country in the United States Air Force during WWII.
Survivors include his son, Bobby Atkinson, Jr. of Amarillo; daughter, Carolyn Sehorn and husband Dee of Amarillo; daughter, Ann Sehorn of Childress, Texas; daughter, Susie Evans and husband Gary of Wells; daughter, Linda Kellogg and husband Mike of Navasota; daughter, Brenda Sanders and husband Michael of Alto; nine grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sally Massey Atkinson; daughter, Barbara Jackson; brother, Harvey Atkinson; and son-in-law, Donny Sehorn.
