

Mrs. Moore was a founding member of the Lufkin Service League and was a sustaining member of the Junior League. She was an avid bridge player and liked to travel with her family. She was a member of First Christian Church.
Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, John and Holly Moore and Steve and Debra Moore; grandchildren, Jason Moore, Jamie and Jeremy Nobles, Jodie Moore, Jonathan Moore, Stephanie and Jack Knox and Kimberly Moore; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Chester H. Moore; and brothers, Kester Denman, II and Dr. Peyton Denman.
Pallbearers will be Jason Moore, Jonathan Moore, Jeremy Nobles, Jack Knox and Rob Trimble.
Memorial contributions in Mrs. Moore's memory may be made to First Christian Church, 1300 South First Street, Lufkin, Texas 75901.
Services for Mrs. Moore will be held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at First Christian Church in Lufkin with Reverend Stephen Lantis officiating. Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park in Lufkin.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the church prior to the service.
