Carolyn (Wright) Marling

Carolyn was born November 5, 1946 in Nacogdoches, Texas, the daughter of the late Delia (Baker) and Sam Wright. She passed away Saturday, February 15, 2014 in a Diboll nursing facility.

Carolyn loved drawing and expressing her creativity. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, sharing with them a wide variety of jokes.

Survivors include her husband-to-be, John Sible of Diboll; daughters and sons-in-law, Pam Flowers of Diboll, ReGina Dixon of Pollok, LeighAnne and Loyd Glenn of Pollok, and Melissa and Bruce Whitaker of Lufkin; grandchildren, Micha and Lee Aguilar, Jessica and Brandon Wade, Brian Weaver, Cody and Jessica Weaver, Ashton Allen, Jake Wallace, Jordan Wallace, Tristen Dixon, and Kiersten Whitaker; 9 great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Sam Cain of Nacogdoches; niece, Dena Green of Pearland; and numerous cousins and other family members.

In addition to her parents, Carolyn was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Cain.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at Gipson Funeral Home.
