Services for Clint Erwin Youngblood, 82, of Lufkin, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 6, 2017 in the Gipson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Lloyd Thurman officiating. Interment will follow in Berry Cemetery.
Mr. Youngblood was born June 27, 1934 in Sabine County, TX and passed away Friday, February 3, 2017 at his Lufkin residence. He was the son of the late Lela Bell (Bridges) and Thomas C. Youngblood.
Mr. Youngblood was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He retired from Lufkin Industries and had been employed with Brookshire Brothers.
He is survived by his loving wife, Audrey Lee Youngblood; son and daughter-in-law, Glenn and Guille Youngblood; brothers and sisters-in-law, Leo and Clara Youngblood and Jimmy and Gloria Youngblood; sisters and brothers-in-law, Jennie and Jimmy Prosper, Delma and Wylie Willis and Shirley and Lynnwood Morris; grandsons, Kevin Graham and Glenn Youngblood, Jr.; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by daughter, Cheryl Zimmerly; and brothers, Clarence Allen Youngblood and James Youngblood.
Friends are invited to visit with the family from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday evening at Gipson Funeral Home.
Services have been placed in the trust of Gipson Funeral Home.
