

Services for Edna Earline Williams, 93, of Centerville, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 18, 2014, in the Gipson Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Ed Houk officiating. Interment will follow in the Largent Cemetery.
Mrs. Williams was born September 3, 1920 in Diboll, Texas, the daughter of the late Susie (Sikes) and William Landrum. She passed away Monday, January 13, 2014 in College Station.
Mrs. Williams was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother, as well as a homemaker and seamstress.
Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Joyce and Ed Houk of Centerville and Faye and Audie Christie of Lufkin; brother-in-law, Raymond Dunn of Centerville; sister, Shirley Stubblefield of Lufkin; brothers, G. B. Landrum and James Landrum, both of Lufkin; grandchildren, Denise Lawrence, Tammie Williams and husband Shane, Elvin Bryant and wife April, Cindy Osborn, Teresa Williford, Daryl Christie, Cindy Jones, Kim Coleman, and Christina Olalde; 19 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great grandchildren; and a number of other family members.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Williams; sisters, Bessie Henderson and Marie Dunn; and brother, Wallace Landrum.
Pallbearers will be Wes Torres, Elvin Bryant, Corey Mullan, Ronald Stubblefield, David Stubblefield, Shane Williams and Chris Landrum.
The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. until service time on Saturday at the funeral home.
