John “Jack” Albert WindsorMemorial services for John “Jack” Albert Windsor, 71, of Lufkin, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 23, 2014 in the Henderson Chapel at Lufkin’s First United Methodist Church, with Reverend D. Nick Sholars officiating.
Mr. Windsor was born August 30, 1942, the son of the late John H. and Olive (Harley) Windsor in Cornwall, Ontario. He passed away Friday, February 14, 2014 in Lufkin.
He resided in Lufkin for 20 years and was a nature lover and avid birder. He went to great lengths to find birds, including trips to all seven continents. He was a member of Lufkin’s First United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Marianne Windsor of Lufkin; daughter, Lisa Watson of Port Perry, Ontario; son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Suzy Childers of Lufkin; granddaughter, Hanna Watson of Port Perry, Ontario; and grandsons, Nolan and Graham Childers of Lufkin.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Herbert Windsor; and mother, Olive Claire (Harley) Windsor.
Services have been placed in the trust of Gipson Funeral Home
