Louise Jane Haynes

Louise Jane Haynes, 97, of Lufkin, was born August 6, 1928, in Beatrice, Nebraska, the daughter of the late Mabel (Miller) and Frank Herbert Ramsey. She passed away Friday, November 14, 2025, in a local assisted living facility.

Mrs. Haynes loved sewing and enjoyed gardening and flowers. She was a member of First Lutheran Church and a member of the L.W.M.L. She loved to socialize with her friends at their homes.

Survivors include her son, Richard Alan Haynes of Huntsville, daughter, RoDona Burford of Rusk; daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Doug Lucas of Huntington; son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Melanie Haynes of Lufkin; grandchildren, Kelly Haynes of Huntsville, Christina Gonzales and husband Jeff of Houston; Jenifer Buford of Lufkin, Shana Patrick of Deer Park, Jacob Mosley and fiance, Makenzie Mahone of Nacogdoches, and Ethan Mosley and fiance, Kile Crandell of Houston, Collin Haynes and wife Lauren of Lufkin, Adam Haynes and wife Madison of Jasper and 6 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Haynes was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Benjamin Butler Haynes in 2015; grandson, Ryan Marcus Haynes; and daughter-in-law, Marjorie Haynes.

A celebration of Life will be held at First Lutheran Church in Lufkin on Saturday, November 22, 2025 at 2:00 p.m.
