Robbie Rochelle Maxwell

Funeral service for Robbie Howard Maxwell, 80, of Huntington, will be held at 10 AM Saturday, September 16, 2023 in the Gipson Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Cary Moddesth officiating. Interment will follow at Jonesville Cemetery.

Robbie was born February 25, 1943, daughter to the late Irma Ross and Henry Andrew Howard. She passed away Monday, September 11, 2023 in her home.

Mrs. Maxwell loved her family very much. She was very involved with the military and well known in Huntington as being the “troop lady”.

Survivors include daughters, Cindy Maxwell Lippus of Montgomery, Betty Jean Maxwell of Montgomery; sons Earl “Bubba” Maxwell of Montgomery, Dan Maxwell of Azle, Cameron and Alma Maxwell of Huntington; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sisters, Frankie Fondren and Mozelle Emerson and husband, Billy; and numerous relatives.

She is preceded in death by husband, Earl Lee Maxwell; brother, Henery Howard, Roger Dale Howard, and Ted Howard.

Pallbearers will be Clayton Maxwell, Nathan Maxwell, Cameron Maxwell, Joseph Maxwell, Casey Maxwell, Bucky Howard, and Wes Emerson.

Honorary pallbearers will be Nicholas Edmondson and Dan Maxwell.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home.
