Funeral service for Ronnie Batson, 61, of Houston, will be held at 11 AM on Friday, January 26, 2024, at Gipson Funeral Home with Bro. Dale Morton officiating. Interment will follow at Hans Cemetery.

Mr. Batson was born April 9, 1962 in Houston, Texas, son to the late Ina M. (Morton) and Floyd W. Batson. He passed away Saturday, January 20, 2024 in a Pasadena hospital.

Ronnie loved spending time with his family. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing and camping, but what he most enjoyed was his music.

Survivors include sisters, Mary Carroll of Houston and Rose Means of Dallas; nephew, Aaron Means of Dallas; and great-niece, Kaylen Wilson of Etoile.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, William Batson.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
