Funeral services for Ronnie E. Grogan, 72, of Lufkin, will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, January 6, 2024, at Gipson Funeral Home with Pastor Nathan Pannell officiating. Interment will follow at Whitehouse Cemetery.
Mr. Grogan was born July 2, 1951, son to the late Eula Mae Conway and Lindell Ray Grogan. He passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at the Memorial Hermann Northeast Hospital.
Ronnie was a loving husband and father. He loved traveling, movies, dining out, and spending time with his family. He was a truck driver for Allen Loggins for 25 years. The family wishes to thank the Aqua Diavita Dialysis, Brazos Transit, and Woodland Heights Medical Center.
Survivors include wife, Valerie Grogan of Lufkin; daughter, Michelle Grogan and partner, Cody Durham of Wells; brother, Larry Grogan and Linda of Diboll; sisters, Donna Grogan of Lufkin, Barbara Tilley and husband, Brian of Lufkin; numerous nieces and nephews; and his best buddy, Little George.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Michael Ray Grogan.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home.
