Thelma Marie (Johnson) Green

Thelma was born January 25, 1933 in Rusk County, daughter to the late Nancy Mertie (Smith) and Amos Johnson. She passed away Wednesday, April 19, 2023 in the Huntington Healthcare & Rehabilitation.

Mrs. Green was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved her grandbabies and great-grandbabies. In her free time, Thelma enjoyed fishing.

Survivors include daughter, Mary Freeman; grandchildren, David and wife, Lena Mitchell, Kimberly Blattner and husband, John, Keith Green, Coy Green, Donna Chance, and Brandi Thomas and husband, Nicholas; great-grandchildren, Megan E. Blattner, Alyssa Dawn Blattner, Pat Mitchell, Connie and Jackie Hammond, Nathaniel Ryan Thomas, Natalie Renee Thomas, and Chelsey Basey and fiancé, John Flannery; and son-in-law, David L. Mitchell.

She was preceded in death by parents; husband, Wilson Coy Green; son, Wilson Keith Green; daughter, Nancy Mitchell; sister, Essie Green; and brothers, Raymond Johnson, and Buford Johnson.
