

Memorial services for Tyler Wayne “Lane” Stinson, 22, of Diboll, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 15, 2015 in the Gipson Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Jim Dunn and Reverend Jack Emert officiating. Private family interment will be in the Liberty Hill Cemetery in Liberty Hill, Texas.
Tyler was born May 20, 1993 in Clear Lake, Texas. He passed away Saturday, July 11, 2015 in Austin.
Tyler was a solid control technician in the oil field industry. He loved his family, friends, and “his son” Jäeger, his blue pit bull. He was an adrenaline junkie. He parachuted, ziplined, loved to race, was a travel adventurer, and participated in community softball. His laugh and smile will always be remembered.
Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Robin and Robert Daniels of LaPorte; father and stepmother, Travis Wayne and Joyce Stinson of LaPorte; brothers, Hunter and Cody Stinson and Tyler Daniels; sisters, Shelby Daniels and Miranda Martinez; maternal grandparents, Lawrence and Sharon Merritt of Lufkin; paternal grandparents, Terry and Frank Barfield of Richmond and Howard “PaPa” Dixon III of Pasadena; great-grandfather, Jack Emert of Georgetown; and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.
Tyler was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Betty Hardin Emert; and great-grandfather, Weldon Eugene Hardin.
Pallbearers will be Cody Stinson, Hunter Stinson, Chad Barfield, Hunter Parker, Dakota Allen, Garrett Innerarity, Reagan Oliver and Byford Pfeiffer.
