

SALEM – Albert Arthur Russell, 88, of Lynn, formerly of Salem, passed away on Monday, July 22nd at Salem Hospital. Albert was the beloved husband of Evelyn (Faust) Russell of Lynn with whom he shared over 50 years of marriage.
Born in Salem, Albert was the son of the late Arthur and Eleanor (Lynnhart) Russell. He graduated from Salem High School with the class of 1949 and served in the US Army in Germany during the Korean Conflict. He worked as a supervisor for the former Bicknell and Fuller in Peabody for over 30 years prior to his retirement.
Albert was the loving father of Michael Russell of Seabrook, NH, Donna Russell and Lisa Carozza, both of Haverhill; the cherished grampy of Kimberly Paradis and her husband, Robert and Amanda Cronin and her partner, Steven Parker, all of Haverhill; the adoring great grampy of Ava, Leah, Quinn and Elliot; the dear brother of Dorothy Mercer of Bedford, NH and the late Robert, William and Rudolph Russell, Loretta Nadeau, Laura Hagar and Lillian Wilson; the sister-in-law of Nancy Poch of Sudbury; and the uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Albert was an avid golfer and fisherman as well as an amazing pool shark. He played golf at a number of courses on the North Shore and even hit a hole-in-one at Far Corner Golf in Boxford. He was a past member of Beverly Country Club and Moose International in Salem. Most of all, he loved spending time with his entire family, especially his grandchildren.
