

Anne Marie Pierre was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. On January 27, 2026, she passed away peacefully at Tufts Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family. She was 88 years old.
Anne was born on October 21st, 1937, in Leogane, a small town in Haiti. She was the daughter of Jean Joseph Hermilan and Marie Fanielle Sanford. At a young age, she suffered the loss of both parents. The lack of financial support forced her to abandon school, but she pursued a career in tailoring to provide for herself and her family.
Anne was married to her soulmate, Jacques Pierre, for 60 years. She is survived by her two sons, Jean Yvon Pierre and Jacques Jr. Pierre, Her daughter, Elsie Pierre; Her grandchildren: Guirlene Pierre, Stanntley Sylvestre, Emmanualla Jeirles, Jennifer Pierre, Styven Sylvestre, Christopher Sylvestre, Tyreese Pierre, Jabin Pierre, Joshua Pierre; her great-grandchildren: Andre Jeirles, Amarion Sylvestre, Karlos Jeirles, Elijah St Jean, Sayid Sylvestre, Keyiona Sylvestre, and Malik Jeirles. She is also survived by Marie Rose, Claude, Estève, Famille Jovain, Famille Saintiné, Rénald, and Gina, as well as her brother, Elancy Désilant, and his family.
Anne was the heart and soul of her family, known for her compassion. She was an inspiration to us all for not letting anything get in her way. She was a tailor and a businesswoman. She was a fighter and a generous person. She will forever be in our hearts and will be missed very much.
Anne’s visitation will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2026 from 9:00 to 10:00 AM at the Calvary Christian Church, 47 Grove Street, Lynnfield. Her funeral service will follow at 10:00 AM. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn.
