Beatrice M. Bonin Gaudet

Born in Lynn, Bea was the daughter of the late Peter and Alice (Cormier) Bonin. She attended Lynn Schools and was a lifelong resident of Lynn.

Bea was an active and devoted parishioner of St. Jean-Baptiste Church and later St. Pius V Church, and was a devoted wife and mother. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her large family. She was a fount of information.

She leaves her children, Leo Gaudet of TX, Joseph Gaudet and his wife Carol of Peabody, Raymond Gaudet of Methuen, John Gaudet and his wife Susan of Lynn, Richard Gaudet of Lynn, Sr. Theresa Marie Gaudet, O.P. of West Springfield, Rosalie Scully of Lynn, Elaine Powers and her husband George of Lynn, Joan Blanchard of FL, Joanne Houlihan and her husband Sean of Lynn, Guy Gaudet and his wife Kim of Lynn, and Mark Gaudet and his wife Valerie of Peabody. Bea is also survived by 30 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of Bob Bonin and his wife Florence of Lynn and the late Henry Bonin, Raymond Bonin and Marie Maes.

For the past three years, Bea was a resident at the Abbott House in Lynn. The family would like to thank the staff for their concern and special care during her stay.

Bea’s Funeral will be at the CUFFE-MCGINN FUNERAL HOME, 157 Maple St. Lynn on Saturday at 9:30AM followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Pius V Church at 10:30AM. Relatives and friends invited. Interment in St. Jean’s Cemetery. Visiting Hours Friday 4-8 PM. Gifts in Bea’s memory may be sent to the Dominican Monastery of the Mother of God, 1430 Riverdale St., West Springfield, MA 01089-4698.
