Catherine E Fay Doyle

She was the wife of the late Herbert L. Doyle.

Born in Lynn and a lifelong resident of the City, she was the daughter of the late Bartholomew and Jamesie (Gilliss) Fay.

A communicant of St. Pius V Church, she was formerly a very involved member of St. Joseph’s Church.

She loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Catherine was the mother of William Doyle and his wife Donna of Rowley, Robert Doyle and his wife Nancy of Salem, James Doyle and his wife Lisa of Lynn, John Doyle and his wife Carol of Lynn, Joseph Doyle and his wife Mary of Medford, and Catherine MacArthur and her husband James of Lynn, the loving grandmother of Jennifer, James, Kaitlin and her husband Mark, Brian and his wife Molly, Krista and her husband Justin, Kailey, John, Emily, Catherine, Michael, Andrew, Conor and Molly, the great-grandmother of Ella, Ryder and Charlie Grace, and also leaves several nieces and nephews. Catherine was also the sister of the late Bartlett, John, William and Irene Fay.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Abbott House for the loving kindness and care that they so graciously provided.

Her funeral will be held from the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home 157 Maple Street, Lynn, on Tuesday at 9:30 AM, followed by a funeral Mass in St. Pius V Church at 10:30 AM. Burial in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Visiting hours Monday 4-8 PM. Donations in her memory may be made to St. Pius V School Endowment Fund, 28 Bowler Street, Lynn, MA 01904.
