

Colleen J. (Cook) Adamo age 67 years, of Lynn died Wednesday November 18, 2015 unexpectedly at home. She was wife of the late Vito W. Adamo Jr. A lifelong Lynn resident, she was the daughter of the late Clayton and Ruth (Kevill) Cook.
Colleen was a graduate of Lynn English High School class of 1966. She worked as a claims adjuster for many years. After her retirement she worked at St. Pius V Church. She enjoyed knitting, movies and was a passionate reader.
Colleen's favorite past time was being with her grandchildren and teaching her family and friends how to cook..
Colleen is survived by her children Vito W. Adamo III and his companion Kerry Wardrop of Avon, Alexandria “Ali” Pasquale and her husband Peter of Salem and Anthony C. Adamo and his wife Suzanne of Merrimac; five grandchildren Alexander, Elizabeth and William Pasquale, Nicholas and Gabriella Adamo; her sisters Arleen Durgin of Peabody, Deborah Raftery and her companion Lee Oliver of Lynn, Donna Burgess of Lynn, Diane Nordyke of Lynn; a brother Michael Cook and wife Marybeth of Lancaster; as well as her mother-in-law, Jennie (Pujo) Adamo of Lynn and many nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her sisters Carol Burch, Barbara “Cookie” Cormier and Kathleen Pascoe.
Colleen’s Funeral from the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple Street, Lynn on Monday November 23 2015 at 10 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Pius V Church, Lynn at 11 AM. Visiting hours on Sunday from 1 to 5 pm. Donations may be made in Colleen’s name to St. Vincent DePaul of St. Pius V Parish in Lynn.
