

Daniel J. Hanrahan, of Middleboro, formerly of Lynn and South Carolina, passed away Thursday, January 21, 2016. Born in Lynn, he was the son of the late Roger and Ellen (McGrath) Hanrahan. Dan was the beloved husband of Carol A. (Kazokus) Hanranhan; and the dear brother of the late Roger Hanrahan, Jr. He is survived by several step children and grandchildren. Dan graduated from St. Mary’s High School, Lynn with the class of 1956 and held a Bachelor’s degree from Merrimack College. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He owned and operated the Daniel J. Hanrahan Tax Consultant business in Lynn for over 25 years. He moved to South Carolina upon retirement. He was a member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians in Lynn and the Classic Car and Truck Club of Beaufort, SC. Dan’s funeral will be held from the CUFFE-MCGINN FUNERAL HOME, 157 Maple St., Lynn on Monday, January 25th at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. at St. Pius V Church, 215 Maple St, Lynn. Relatives and friends invited. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Lynn. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, January 24th from 12:00 noon to 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
